EFFICIENCY SUCCESS OF SDU POMZAMER ( PUMICE RESEARCH AND APPLICATION CENTER)

Prof. Dr. Metin Lutfi Bayar (Rector of SDU) Prof. Dr. Vecihi Kirdemir (Assistant rector of SDU) Prof. Dr. Lutfullah Gunduz ( Manager of Pomzamer ) Musa ERTAS (The chairman of bims industry association) Mehmet EVCI ( The chairman of Turkish Standartization Association) And other manufacturers joined to certificate ceremony in SDU ( Pumice research and application center) Prof. Dr. Metin Lutfi Bayer (Rector of SDU) said that if the universities does not make projects which concerned about community, they will not reach to any academic success. Prof. Dr. Bayar said taht I want my colleagues to make project which is going to catch up with the life especially in technology and engineering brach. Even the limited oppurtinity did not make any dissappointment for Pomzamer. Pomzamer still makes projects. Also he said that I am thanking to my colleagues who are working in this sector. Prof. Dr. Lutfullah Gunduz (Manager of Pomzamer) said that first time a university research center took laboratory technical efficiency certificate and also he said that, Pomzamer qualified to take (TS EN ISO /TEC 17025 Laboratory Technical Efficiency Certifictae According to TS EN ISO/TEK 17025 between university from TSE (Turkish Standardization Institute). According to this certificate SDU is the only authority who authorized the product analysis which are all bricks products, aerated concrete products, bimsblock products, ready plaster and similar kind of construction materials. The chairman of Turkish Bims Industry Association who is Musa ERTAS said that there is another positive step about cooperation between SDU and manufacturers.
